somehow we made it halfway through the year. time just doesn’t make sense anymore, and asher will be 13 (!!!!) in two months from today 🥹 im also 93% sure im going to have him try school again in the fall and im absolutely terrified 🙃
homeschooling gives us the freedom of him learning life skills and not just being stuck at a desk doing a worksheet that won’t help his future, but he really needs the interaction with peers, so I think we’re going to try it again, and if it doesn’t work or if he doesn’t like it, back to homeschool it is. i really wish we had better special needs schooling options here for the mid-spectrum kiddos 🙃
