Annie Lennox Instagram – Dear Friends, Violence comes in many forms in this world. Even as a small child I understood that there was something aberrant in its expression. Hurting a creature – hurting a human being is anathema to me. Like the flame from a match can ignite a blazing fire… Once it starts it can spread quickly and is more and more impossible to extinguish. And the more it spreads the worse it gets. I knew after Oct 7th that there would be a tipping point. I knew there would be a terrible retribution. 7 months on and the scale of destruction beggars belief. World leaders have a LOT to answer for. I’m ashamed of this despicable violent world.
Annie Lennox Instagram – Dear Friends, Most of us live thousands of miles away from Gaza.. We don’t experience the nightmare that is taking place directly., but ‘watch’ from a safe distance. As a mother and a woman, I am absolutely horrified by what we are all witnessing. If each one of us were to send a donation to cover the cost of just ‘one’ @medicalaidpal package for a woman or mother in Gaza it would be like a gift of love.. A positive expression of support..
