Bhavana Instagram – 5 WORLD CUPS!!! Let’s go down memory lane❤️
An incredible honour and blessing to be able to host five #worldcups with @starsportsindia @starsportstamil
Each of them have been under different circumstances,
2019 : THE INDUCTION – oh, how nervous I was! Plunged into this world. I Was tested, critiqued, cried, learnt, spent sleepless nights trying to understand the sport/format/ history. Incredible experience and I was hooked💪
2021 : THE BUBBLE WORLD CUP! Spending time away from family, stuck between the hotel and studio without any access to the outside world was challenging yet in a weird way, fun. Friendships were forged, some bonds were broken, yet we all survived.
2022 : THE AUSTRALIAN ADVENTURE ! My FIRST overseas assignment with #starsports and it was one I’ll remember for life. Learnt a lot, worked hard and partied even harder 🔥IND Vs PAK at the MCG was the moment I realised how blessed I was to be at the ground ❤️
2023 : FIRST HOME WORLD CUP !! What an experience this was! Every city, every venue was LIT! I was one of the fans, cheering till the very end ! Even though, we suffered a heartbreak in Ahmedabad my fond memory is meeting the captain and listening to his emotions and free spirited chat the evening before the big final💪👏
2024 : THE FINAL FRONTIER – the opportunity to host a World Cup in the US was nothing short of spectacular ! India Pak was a vibe and to think that only a handful of us have stepped into that stadium is a special feeling 🙂 However, NOTHING can beat the feeling of a VICTORY! Thank you God! At last!
