California voters need to vote to keep an existing law to protect our health and safety. In 2022, CA Governor Newsom signed and implemented SB 1137 which is a 3,200-foot health and safety buffer zone between oil extraction and sensitive land. This November, vote to KEEP SB 1137.
The Big Oil industry is willing to spend $200 million on this campaign, but we are going to take the ballots and show big oil that they have no place in our backyards, our democracy, or in our future.
