Carrie Brownstein Instagram – RIP guitarist Marlene Marder of Swiss band Kleenex / LiliPUT. Their “Ain’t You” 7″ is one of the single most early influences on my guitar playing and likely on Sleater-Kinney in general. And if you listen, you’ll hear its influence on countless other bands. “Die Matrosen” has gone on nearly every music mix I’ve made for people.
