I love each and every one of these brilliant writers discussing the importance of bigger writers rooms and why we are striking. And any carousal of images about Happy Endings wouldn’t be complete without a picture of the actors they wrote for because this is the exact type of thing writers roll their eyes at and we can’t not do! #wgastrong @hollywoodreporter

Pic 1 is from @caseyrosewilson wedding, and sums up our friendship perfectly. If it takes 10,000 hours to be amazing at something, then I am amazing at laughing at @mrdamon2 . Literally born to do it. Yet still no one works harder and with more grace, gentleness and a killers wit. Mans is a modern marvel who I would die for and once stopped Captain America from killing me at The Playboy Mansion, but that is a story for another time. I’d like to welcome to The Happy Endings Podcast, My IRLBFFL Mr. Damon Wayans Jr. (link in bio)

Happy Fathers Day to two EXTREMELY different, yet ODDLY similar giants. Both of you mean everything to me. 💜

Some pics from the tent in Season 2 of The Great American Baking Show. I unsuccessfully tried to leave my husband for Ole Blue Eyes. What can ya do. I’ll take another run at it in Season 3.
I love this show so much and Dame Prue and Sir Zach Cherry and all the bakers, crew and producers. It’s an unbelievably special season. Streaming now on @therokuchannel

It is a hard job to play the straight man. Consistently setting others up, reacting honestly while not stalling a scene out by asking too many questions or scoffing too hard. The straight man is both the audiences voice “this is crazy” and the audiences inner voice “for some reason I’ll allow it”. Unsung, under-appreciated, integral to a comedy’s survival and in our case able let me and @caseyrosewilson make fun of their appearance for years on end. No one plays that part with more ease, candor, or confidence and held his own like my big brother @zachknighton. Never in my life would I think one of my best friends would be a goyisha surfer from Virginia who sails a boat and catches his own crab but, life is funny that way. Please welcome to The Happy Endings podcast the multitalented @zachknighton (link in bio)

Danielle and I sat down with the lovely @jennalyonsnyc and she taught us about Housewives and we taught her about fashion. Thank God she has us! She was fantastic and GD inspiring. And knows where to get a great bralette so WHAT’S NOT TO LOVE?? Link to ep in bio. Enjoy!
We came in as children and left as professionals, and that can be attributed to Executive Producers Josh Bycel and Gail Lerner. The patience that these two showed every day both in the room and on set is actually one of the secret sauces of Happy Endings that doesn’t get talked about. How does a show where 6 characters who only care about themselves have so much heart? Gail and Josh. They pushed the ball up hill, cared for us with compassion, wrote for us with brilliance and taught us how to be menches in this weird life. I am so excited to have my mom and dad on the happy endings pod, please welcome Gail Lerner and Joshy Bycel. (Link in Bio)

Is there real life Max and Penny? Yes! There were many in that writers room at that time, and these are 2 of the them, don’t ask me which is which they are both maniacs. Sierra and Brian are just 2 of the 139 writers of the Happy Endings staff who went on to run television shows of their own in Sierra’s hilarious and groundbreaking Rutherford Falls and Gallivan’s hilarious and groundbreaking The McCarthys. These two are threads of the fabric that make up happy endings and without Sierra’s huge heart and Gallivan’s ENORMOUS ego Happy Endings and Max and Penny would not be the same or be there at all really. Welcome to The Happy Endings podcast 2 of the funniest, smartest, kindest hilarious and groundbreaking and as someone who has worked closely with both, they are the most caring writers in Hollywood @sierraornelas and @unclebarney5 – Link in Bio
