This day in March 8 years ago (without knowing it was Trans Day of Visibility lol) I stepped out my front door for the first time as myself. Choosing to be visible as a trans person, never mind in the media but just in your everyday life, is hand on heart one of the scariest and bravest things a person can do. It shouldn’t have to be. It *doesn’t* have to be. PLEASE STAND UP FOR TRANS PEOPLE.
