Courtney Halverson Instagram – Maybe I watched Annie a little too many times as a child, but to me there has always been something so beautiful and so nostalgic about a locket. A secret little treasure box that you can wear around your neck, a place to hold memories and to keep them close to your heart. I cannot express how thrilling it has been to launch this small collection of lockets with @monicarichkosann. The amount of messages and texts and congratulations has been so surreal – and it’s a bit of a “pinch me” moment. I’ve long since admired MRK pieces and when the idea came about to create a collection (alongside Monica herself) I said yes immediately. My first thought, as the collection came to life, was to photograph the pieces in Ireland – I still can’t believe it came true This collection means so much to me, and the shell shape was inspired by the feeling of walking along a beach, finding little hidden treasures, buried in the sand.
