My name is Daniella Rabbani. I love PEOPLE. I’m curious about PEOPLE. When I was a child I’d read biography after biography after biography – I love to know how the human spirit overcomes. How we find joy, transmute our sorrow and make meaning out of our lives. This account is a reflection of that passion and pursuit in a few different areas but I wanted to highlight one in particular:

I host The @momcurious Podcast produced by @hoffstudios (shoutout to EP of dreams @lauralucch!). We have a library of over 100 episodes- profiles and deep dives on our guests and their unique strand of motherhood (often under represented) whether it be choosing not to be a mother, raising a non binary child, one’s own Black maternal health, the stay at home mother experience and so on. We’ve just scratched the surface and already we are lifting the veil of shame by way of first hand storytelling. This is my contribution to women of all stripes and I don’t shy away from the nitty gritty questions about sex and money and the rest. @lindseybroad (hilarious actor and guest on season one) calls me the Howard Stern of mommies and I’ll take it. Others like @thepsychdoctormd says our show is “a little safe space on the internet”. We’ve had very well known guests on and equally interesting, more private stories sometimes about loss- always in the hopes of soothing the listener. You are not alone.

I know this account @daniellarabbani has leaned heavily on my Jewish identity which will likely continue especially since I’m working on my Yiddish Music Album this year. It’s a big part of who I am. So, I’m making sure to be more attentive over at the @momcuriouspodcast account. This way I can parse out the important work we’re doing over there and elevate it in a way it deserves.
