Hi friends! Well I’ve had an interesting couple of months. In May I was diagnosed with breast cancer. The good news is that I caught it early and I’ll be fine. My radiologist literally told me I have the perfect boobs for radiation which I find hilarious. I went back and forth on if I should say anything here. I feel completely fine and I’m looking for work and don’t want people to think I’m sick. On the other hand I think it’s really important for people to know that breast cancer is on the rise for those under 40 (all my doctors are telling me this) so please take care of yourself and get checked early and often. Finding it early can save your life. ❤️ #breastcancerawareness

Had some time between doing radiation and getting my monthly Lupron shot. I went for a little walk to the nearby Arlington gardens. They have a wish tree and I spent a little time reading the wishes. I think it’s easy to wonder “why me? Why did I get cancer?” The tree was a good reminder that everyone is going through something. And a reminder that we should all be kind to each other because you never know what someone else is going through ❤️
