In 1987, a bunch of hip artists got together to build a working theme park for kids in Germany. Keith Haring. Rebecca Horn. Dali. Basquiat. Many others. It was open for a bit, and when it closed, it was packed up into storage containers and forgotten.
The people of @lunaluna tracked down the storage containers, unpacked and cleaned it all, and it is now set up in downtown LA. You can’t ride the rides, but it’s magical and transgressive and deeply weird. An excellent time. See it before it moves to New York!

This is Charleen Swansea. She is in the documentary Sherman’s March, a 1985 doc that was supposed to be about something something civil war and instead turned into one man’s search for love in the 1980s south.
If I could get this entire speech tattooed on me, I would. Charleen forever.
