Emma Booth Instagram – We are so excited to show @emmalovesluna stunning artworks at @hamptonsfineartfair 🎉 Emma Booth is a two-time Australian Academy Award-winning actress. Her talent has been recognized the world over, with eight other Best Actress Awards to her name. Throughout her career, thus far spanning 17 feature films and 13 TV shows, Booth started painting during the lockdowns as a way of staying creative, giving herself a space to release her emotions as well as tell her stories. As an actor who couldn’t make films at that time, Booth realized how much she depended on art to thrive and survive.
She says of her art, “It’s incredibly cathartic for me and if I am not creating, I am shrinking.” Booth’s art is a metaphor for her life. She tells her stories, and if not telling stories, she lets pure visceral emotion roam free on her canvases.
Booth knows her art returns her to home. She knows it makes her feel more alive than anything else in this universe. Booth is creating and, through her creation, expanding out into the whole universe.
When I first saw her artworks, I was speechless. Each artwork tells a story with so much depth and emotion. They are the stories of her personal journey through life.
