STOP banning our stories! 🏳️‍🌈❤️🏳️‍⚧️ Today, despite living my life as a proud trans woman, my children’s book “I Am Jazz” is one of the most banned and challenged books of the decade. Legislators ban it because they believe it’s an attempt to "recruit" young children into identifying as LGBTQ. It is not. The book is about identity, giving people the freedom to express who they feel they are and how to be a good friend to someone who's different. LGBTQ people belong. Allowing us to share our stories creates a more inclusive community for all. 💞🏳️‍🌈 #Repost 🎥: Thank you to my brother @sander_jennings for helping me film and edit this

Barbara Walters is a legend.
She was a remarkable woman and PIONEER.
Not only did she profoundly change the society we live in, she shaped the course of my entire life. I will always be grateful for you and the contribution you’ve had on the world.
I love you so much.

Jazz Jennings Instagram – Dating as a transgender woman can be so challenging. I wish people could be like, “You know what? I don’t care that you’re transgender. You’re just a woman to me. You’re beautiful. And I see that in you.” Unfortunately, that isn’t always the case, and many people don’t realize that being a transgender woman doesn’t solely define me — it’s only one part of me.

In the upcoming episodes of #IAmJazz, I begin to re-explore my dating life after not going on a date for four years. It’s been terrifying and exciting to put myself out there, so I hope you all enjoy the ride. 💜 #TransIsBeautiful
