After I came home from surprising @tomiadeyemi I couldn’t WAIT to put Coco to bed so I could get started on Tomi’s latest novel “Children of Anguish and Anarchy” and BABYYYYYY… I 👏COULDNT👏PUT👏THE 👏BOOK 👏DOWN. I legit cried feeling Zélie get pushed to her limits and never knew I could get so swept up in a book about kingdoms and magic ancestry, (I’m more of a self help reader usually). BUT this book had me talking to my own ancestors and excited to read it to Monaco one day so we could cheer on these ferocious Black female leaders like Zélie and Amari. And HULLO last day for @amazon prime yall and I’m gonna need you to get the trilogy of Tomi’s books cuz I can’t be sitten here fangirling by myself!! In the words of Coco CONGRATULATIONS TOMI!!!! 🎉📚📙📘📘
