Jessie Reyez Instagram – Hi. Quick update I suppose. Currently in my hotel room in LA. Doing some reconnaissance. Doing some self reflection and “I am-ing ” so here we go. I am student of music. I’m a student of life. I have flaws but I work for self betterment everyday. Sometimes I’m too judgmental outwardly but it’s also a reflection of how judge mental I am internally towards myself; which has it’s own pros and cons but at the end of the day my standards are high. I’m still finding balance between the pursuit of happiness and the appreciation of the journey. Balance between “more” and “enough” and reluctantly doing shadow work. I am not perfect by any means (I should get that tatted atp) but I work hard to get as close to greatness as possible… and this day was a great fucking day made possible by great fucking people. More gratitude More presence And when shit goes left, because it does and that’s just life sometimes, more willingness to sit in the dirt so you learn your lessons and don’t regress.
