Jill Wagner Instagram – Happy birthday to one of my oldest , dearest friends . We have such a long history and this guy saved my life at one point…. although I don’t think he knows it . Mo is a man of honor , character , truth and heart . He gives a thousand percent of himself to whatever he takes on . We have grown up together in a way …. And I have been in awe of his accomplishments ….(Sometimes from a far) but he has always been a steady force in my life . Cheers to his birth and cheers to his continued success in this life ! Jill Wagner Instagram – With the looming strike that is set to happen tomorrow if negotiations aren’t reached, I wanted to post some of my favorite photos of my time filming Lioness. If we do strike I won’t be able to post anything about the show so ……..for those of you who may not know, David and I came up with the concept for this show on our farm in East Tennessee one night over a bottle of whiskey and a bonfire. We were talking about how hard it is for a woman in her 40s in Hollywood . I think at the time I was feeling a bit sorry for myself. David asked me what my dream role was. I said I wanted to play someone in the military. He told me to stop waiting for someone else to offer it to me and create my own opportunity. We spoke that night for hours about the women that he had worked with in the Army and how they had impressed him with their ability to gain certain intel . He then spoke about a group of women called Lionesses . Once I heard their story I knew it needed to be a movie or a tv show. My first acting coach in my 20’s was a man by the name of Taylor Sheridan. I kept up with his career through a mutual friend of mine ( @ianbohen ) and I knew that I didn’t trust anyone to run this show except for him . Taylor , David and I spoke on the phone , and the rest is history . He created such an incredible world . The script , the actors ,the locations , the sets , our entire Lioness Team is the best of the best . I have caught lightning in a bottle, and I know that. Even though I am living my dream, still the best part of it is that I get to live it out with my husband. Pure magic . Thank you @urban_cimo for challenging me to not give up on my dream and force my way though the doubt . That’s what a real partner does. We won baby !!! We won !! Please watch the show if you can on @paramountplus July 23rd !!! It’s finally all happening ❤️❤️❤️❤️🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹. And to all of the people in the military who serve our country.
