Jo Frost Instagram – And when they want…well you know what that looks like and feels like,especially out in public where everyone’s got a front row vip ticket!😳🤪 Look the point of this post is for you parents to trust your gut,you know your child and sometimes that full sentence of the word ‘ No’ has to come into play. It’s our job to discern the difference between both. It’s not your job to enable. [ so easy to do] So enough of the guilt tripping yourself, you know what you give and how deep you love. Stay sharp,listen to what resonates because there’s a alot of confusing information out there on parenting with no real worldly wisdom. 🤍 Jo xx #HelpingFamiliesShine💫
Jo Frost Instagram – However it’s in the ‘wrong’ because mistakes happen they learn and gain insight aswell as the courage to make a decision next time instead of staying stuck with the what if’s of a situation. These moments are very valuable for the child. You are required as the parent/caregiver to nudge sensitively what they are thinking on the inside to fruition, as you see their wheels spinning, them over thinking ,reassuring them to say what it is they want to do or say or feel. This is conveyed in a tone that’s conversational,a speech pattern that’s slower to resonate calm and body language that sits back, not urgent,this will bring ease, the child to feel stabilized,support with empathy and not paralyzed, therefore free to do and say. This is my proffesional and personal practice,1 of so many that helps my grandson and families i coach whom have children with ADHD,I hope it helps you too! Jo xx #HelpingFamiliesShine💫
