When I first got the script for this series, I knew I can do most of the tasks – absailing, 2.5km, 7km run, 80km walk with load, swim in the open sea, rescue a capsized boat although I was terrified, scuba diving, and then I saw self contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) training in a confined space and I thought there is no way I can do that. Absolutely no way. As a special force unit under @mcdf.my you have to quit or surrender if you cant complete a task. We lost most of our friends on the show 🥹 and when it came to this part of the training, I wanted to surrender. I really thought I was going to pass out, I managed to run back up. Did I make it through the entire series? You will have to watch “beret” by @mcdf.my to find out Special thanks to Tuan kang @elite_rescuer and the rest of @mcdf.my team @segha, @popeyeblackbrother , Tuan zakee, @alipskywalker , @normawatisoh and rescuers for getting me through my fear. I tried overcoming claustrophobia multiple times in the past by going to tight palces, confined places, ride a lift alone when given the opportunity but never made it. I’d rather climb 12,15,20 flight of stairs than ride a lift alone. My priority is always the production team, I dont want to pass out and cause a hault in shoot. So, whenever I dont feel good I pull out although it makes me feel like shit. I always say no. This time I pushed myself because Tuan kang convinced me that Im capable 🥺 Would I do it again? Maybe. Maybe not. One thing for sure is I have so much respect for @mcdf.my after going through most of their training. A rescue operation is extremely high risk and they train so that they can save lives. An honourable career. Respect!
