Juliette Binoche Instagram – (continuation of the previous post) You’re a master of mimicry, having played Julia Child and Margaret Thatcher, but your performances never feel like an imitation, you bring too much of your own self, your own art. What I could sense while rewatching your films, is that you have fulfilled your dreams, our dreams and beyond. You changed the way we look at women in the cinema world but also helping us to look at ourselves differently. And yet you aren’t self-serious. I see such joy in you, you are always ready to have fun, to sing, dance nd undergo fantastical transformations to channel different spirits. You’ve done : musicals, comedies, dramas, tragedies, and we haven’t begun to talk about your theatre career and all the accents you achieved with your famous grit to go into language’s sources. How did you manage to have four children : Henry, Mary, Grace and Louisa ? Acting was a nest to grow, to take risks in opening your wings, into films like « Mama Mia! ». What is taking you Mama ? We don’t need an answer, we just need your magic. Because love conquers all : you have conquered us.
