Jully Black Instagram – Do you recall last month on @morningshowca when we spoke about the @participaction Community Challenge? Well… DRUMROLL 🥁please!! For a month, communities across Canada have been getting active together in an effort to be named Canada’s most active community and win the $100,000 grand prize, and we have a WINNER!!! Hay River in the Northwest Territories! 591,000 people took part!
This challenge was not only about getting active, but also about building community, which you know I am ALL about! Community is where we need to lean in, especially with all the technology we look at all day long. Even 1 km a day, get out and walk! Positive motion equals positive EMOTION!
The ParticipACTION challenge was great at bringing us all together. As we say, you don’t necessarily need to wait for someone to start a challenge—you need to just start! If you don’t invest in your health, you will have to pay for your sickness!
One more time, shout out to Hay River!! Way to go!! 🥳
