People constantly ask me, “Why don’t you start your family on your own?” My answer… “No.”
Plain and simple. Here’s why…
1. That’s not what God said to me.

My take away lesson…
I’m the biggest cheerleader for single parents by choice and often wish I had the courage to do it. Nevertheless, I don’t.
I KNOW MYSELF. I’ve spent years of therapy learning all about me. So I know when something is my calling and when it is not. You have to know WHO YOU ARE and what’s right for you as you walk life’s pathway. Unfortunately that doesn’t always line up with your timeline or what society defines for you. At the end of my journey it won’t matter WHAT my present circumstance looks like to others. Their opinions will not decide my fate. What WILL matter is whether or not I followed the voice inside my heart… the SAME voice that told me to freeze my eggs. My voice says, 🗣️”Don’t look at my circumstances! Look at MY God!” Whew!! Now, ain’t she a fierce fighter voice within!! ❤️🙌🏾
I faithfully obey her because I submit to a POWER FAR GREATER than me. So no matter what my circumstances look like now I have faith that all will be ok. My regrets will be my own. My victories will be my own. And my journey, though I openly share, is still…
my own.
