Since being here, of course there are tough moments, but what has made the biggest impact on me, are the smiles, laughs and friendliness of the children. Children who are far from home, who don’t know what to expect from one day to the next, who speak perfect English and will run out into the cold to wave goodbye. They are my heroes today. They are my inspiration.
