If there’s one person who truly knew how to seize the day, it’s Chance. We humans understand that life is fleeting and we often remind ourselves to be present, but it’s easier said than done. However, Chance had mastered the art of living for today, living for the moment and consistently radiating boundless energy and devoting his full attention to making others feel cherished.
I will always remember him arriving just 5 minutes before our civil wedding ceremony, walking in like a superhero with his backpack on. He was the only one not in a suit, but we forgave him because after numerous delayed and cancelled flights he had found a way to make it to our special day. He would send me medication when I wasn’t feeling well on set and would pull me out of my little corner, jokingly calling me the biggest recluse, and encouraging me to ease out of my shell. Most importantly, he was unwaveringly loyal to my husband, always there for him, a best friend and of course our master of ceremony who lit up our wedding. His sincerity was a rare and precious quality. Some people go through a lifetime without encountering genuine kindness, but we were truly fortunate to have had him in our lives. We will miss you, Chance. We will miss you big time. 🤍
