Marybeth Havens Instagram – Our beautiful daughter Aurora-Lily was born on the 7th, and she is beyond everything we had hoped and prayed for. When looking at someone so perfect and innocent I can’t help but see God’s signature proudly signed across her as the masterpiece she is. Just when I believe I am at the pinnacle of having discovered the deepest caverns of love life can offer, I am given the great honor of witnessing my true love give birth to our combined true love. I am in sheer awe of my wife and her ultimate testament to her womanhood. She didn’t just give birth, my wife dove deep into the ethereal experience that was entirely unique to her own story. We’ve joined our lives together and this next chapter as parents is one that I’ve dreamt of my entire life.
I sobbed uncontrollably when I heard her cry for the first time. From the moment Aurora was put on my chest, it felt like I no longer needed to yearn for society’s standard of what should fulfill a man. Without debate, a calming wave of clarity flowed out of me and poured appreciation into all aspects of the life I have been given. The duties I now have ARE what fulfills a man.
Aurora has her mumma’s cute nose and my passion for eating every 2 hours (the doc said I can’t give her pasta for at least the first week) … (okay maybe a little longer). We can’t wait for all of the amazing moments the three of us will share babygirl. 🌸🩷
