Mayim Bialik Instagram – Over the holiday weekend, a lot happened in the Middle East. Here is my summary: We are four days into a truce which looks to be continuing with 51 innocent hostages back home in Israel, including a 4-year-old Israeli-American girl whose parents were killed in front of her on October 7. Today, twin 3-year-olds were released. 10-month-old baby Kfir has still not been released and Hamas claims they do not know which terror group has the infant. Israel has released about 150 Palestinian prisoners (many in prison because of violent assaults on innocent Israeli citizens) in exchange for hostages. Three Palestinians suspected of collaborating with Israel were killed and hung upside down and displayed to cheering crowds. I continue to pray for peace and an end to the reign of terror with which Hamas holds the Palestinian people and the Israeli people, as well as Jews worldwide who continue to see a lack of explicit denunciation of crimes against innocent civilians, which the world has been convinced were justified as an act of resistance.
