Smugglers Cove was so beautiful, I went back for seconds. This time I met Hassan, who was selling fresh coconut water… he told me that he made them into cocktails and when I told him I didn’t drink alcohol, he gladly offered to curate a special mocktail for me with Coconut Water, Pasión Fruit, Lemon and Lime…. And it came chilled with ice y’all!
The most beautiful part of this experience besides meeting and celebrating local folk, was being PRESENT! Sobriety allows me to be in the moment and savor every piece of the delicious details life has to offer. From the coconut water, to the salt water breeze on my face, the sun on my skin and the crystal clear ocean … I could even see the fish come up and tickle my toes….
