Summer scrambles in the Flatties, raising my cold water tolerance, risking it all on a city scooter. Building different bubbles with the people in my life.
June was hard too. Injuries, cancelled travel, the car accident, the deaths of friends. Not to mention debate recaps and the Chevron ruling and the ongoing genocide our country is funding. It’s a lot.
This is a gentle suggestion to reach out to your family, friends, whoever is your real-life support system. Resist the urge to withdraw. Ask for what you need 💗
Yesterday I doomscrolled; today I ran around in the flatirons. It’s a balance of coping. Grateful for the people in my life I can lean on 🤍
