Olivia Wilde Instagram – Today is Tamir’s birthday. He would’ve been 18. On November 22, 2014, 12-year-old Tamir Rice was shot and killed by Cleveland police officer Timothy Loehmann. Loehmann shot Tamir almost immediately after arriving at a playground and seeing him playing with a toy gun. Loehmann was not charged with murdering a child holding a toy. In fact, he was almost rehired by another police department until public outcry forced him to withdraw his application.
