From a series of cast portraits at ‘Letters, Light and Love’, masterfully conceptualised by Sarah Sultman who co-produced this inspiring evening in central London alongside Michal Noe, all hosted in association with UJIA.
On stage, the cast read letters from Jewish and Israeli history. Letters of despair, letters of hope, letters of love. Letters which faithfully and authentically told our story.
This was an event like no other, and I am sure this was only the very beginning for ‘Letters, Light and Love’. It was impossible to choose which images to share from this spectacular event. Between this set and the previous one, I have tried to include all the cast members, all of whom donated their time and expertise for this momentous experience. It is difficult to fully explain the Jewish experience of the last 9 months.
Life has been frightening, confusing and suffocating. Spending time with the inspiring people in these portraits was like breathing fresh air. The oxygen of empathy and togetherness. Regardless of status or fame, we are all suffering.
Our lives are not the same as they were on October 6th 2023. This was solidarity. This was a triumph. This was the resistance.
