From just over 1400 nearly a decade ago, tiger numbers have doubled to approximately 3000 as per the previous estimation.
The census in itself is one of its kind in the world, involving thousands of KMs, manpower, gadgets, expertise, etc
With so much of effort going in the conservation of the striped species. one can only be elated to see the result.
