Samyuktha Viswanathan Instagram – Keeping it real #2: Still not over this photo series; I don’t remember the last time I felt like I was captured truly in my element. It’s happy and light…but every time I see this—I’m hit by a sharp tinge of nostalgia. Have you had those moments when you’re in it and you already know that you’re going to feel a longing for it when you look back?
I remember that in these moments here—walking the streets of SoHo, knowing where I’d just come from and where I was going to next—my heart was full and content and yet ever-so-slightly heavy.
The duality of both being truly present and also knowing how exactly how the nostalgia was going to eventually feel.
(I write poetry though, so of course I kinda enjoy it 🫠)
