Real talk, it can get super demotivating, embarrassing even (context for why I used this song) to get rejected/shortlisted and rejected/almost confirmed and rejected, even when you’ve put in your best. It does, in fact, hurt your ego. Auditioning doesn’t get easier, you just get better and more resilient. As any good actor knows—you just gotta pick yourself up and do the work again (easier said than done, I know). But WHEN that ‘YES’ comes, it is worth every bit of the tough parts!
