Two years ago I started dance classes for the first time in my life – and it’s really challenging learning to move in new ways and respecting your body enough not to hate it. And while I have a lot of regret around not starting sooner – I’m not sure I was mentally in a place where I could have before now beause of how internally self-destructive I was. It’s pretty amazing to find a passion that re-frames that stuff into something positive.
