This Nationals meant a lot to me. This past year has been…not what I expected. Training volume and frequency took a hefty drop, and life has been completely turned upside down from my normal (fairly isolated) routines. I’m now surrounded by tiny boogery humans, whom I love dearly. My career has taken a quick change that I could not be more grateful for, but that means a lot of work and time invested. Through all of it, I did what I could and I trained as hard as I was able.
I’m incredibly grateful for those who has been around my and supporting me through this. Words cannot express the amount of love I have for @jessetorrero_ for being the most patient and wonderful and supportive coach and person through all of this. My team @primalintl has cheered me on and heard me vent and told me to eat a burger and try again more times that I can count. And my wonderful gym family from @metroflexlbc …y’all have put up with my blasting my MCR and Pierce the Veil, have laughed with me, have respectfully pretended not to see me cry in the corner, and I could not be more grateful.
