Terra Jolé Instagram – One of the hardest parts of raising children with autism is not hearing the simple things most parents hear their children say everyday. I prayed for 4 years before Grayson said mama independently. That’s truly why I have hope Magnolia will not only say mama but her vocabulary will flourish beyond. Currently she can sing 20 songs and says tons of words, just never on command. I need to make a “mama” song, and then possibly I’ll hear Magnolia say mama on command for the first time. If you have a child that’s nonverbal, but sings or makes sounds, I fully believe they will take off talking, it just takes them a little more time than most.
