Christina Scherer Instagram - Hello! I feel like there are a few new faces here. Just wanted to reintroduce myself with a photo of my face and a few fun facts
1. I have been acting professionally for 23 years (wheeewy, how time flies)
2. I am a professional whistler
3. I moved to New York right before the pandemic (to pursue theater) and when the entertainment business shut down, I joined the @milanartinstitute and began to oil paint again after a 10 year break
4. I started my own photography business called “ @handsomephotography ” when I was 12
5. I paint using moon water. I put loving intentions into the water so that where ever my paintings end up, positive vibrations from the water radiate into the rooms they are in.
6. My favorite way to unwind is a bath
7. I am an avid reader. Please don’t make me try to pick a favorite book.
8. Favorite movies are: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, School of Rock, Captain Fantastic, Everything Everywhere All At Once, Victoria, and every Pixar movie
9. Favorite oil paint color is: lapis lazuli or opera pink
10. I have lived in 5 states, moved over 30 times, went to 12 different schools growing up, and did 10 grades of school (I got my GED in 10th grade and did college until I was 18)

Christina Scherer Instagram - I told you guys some fun facts about me, I think you liked it, so here are a few more:

1. I love when people read poetry to me.
2. A food I cannot live without is: soup.
3. My family and close friends call me “Tee” or “TT” (short for tiny tee) I suppose I am short? I am 5’2’’
4. Once Lil’ Bow Wow asked for my number, he never texted or called, but my 16 year old self was thrilled.
5. I had a really hard time getting representation with an agent or manager as a kid/teenager. I was turned down many times because “I was not funny or bubbly.” The first movie I booked was a comedy…so don’t give up. Sometimes your greatest lack can become a strength. Just keep going 💙
6. I currently live in Kentucky where I paint and teach acting classes.
7. A gift I will ALWAYS love….socks. You can never have too many. I am obsessed with socks.
8. I was raised vegan but am not currently vegan. Being vegan doesn’t work for my body.
9. The only bone I’ve ever broken, is my nose—which I broke going down a slide head first at three years old.
10. I have no tattoos.

1. I can speak gibberish. This is a real thing, if you know…you know.
2. I decided I wanted to be an actress when I was three years old. I remember the exact moment and I’ve never looked back.
3. I love musicals. My favorite is “Once,” I think I’ve listened to that album an embarrassing amount of times. It ends up on my Spotify wrapped EVERY year.
4. I’m an introvert.
5. On my bucket list: see the cherry blossoms in Japan, write a children’s book, ride a hot air balloon, visit all the continents.
6. I’m Latina 💁🏻‍♀️
7. The first indie film I ever saw was Gummo

Do you know what I mean?

Have you ever watched a friend, completely immersed and IN THEIR ELEMENT

That person.
In that moment.
Is connected with themselves in such a deep way…

it’s a remembrance of the “oneness” in all of us

If you are a bystander watching them
You too will feel nourished
And remember what a beauty it is to be alive.

Don’t you think these open hearted people
Should be the ones making decisions for our world?

I’ve watched artists gain success and become financially sovereign…
When they do, they always seem to do good things and create positive impact

People follow dreams…
And follow those who believe in them.

At a time with no technology, 250,000 showed up to watch a man say “I have a dream.” It was their dream too.

He changed the world

It’s the dreamers who build the roads to what’s possible here on earth.

If you are a dreamer and you don’t yet believe it’s possible for you to be financially sovereign, I challenge you to question your beliefs

Where did they come from?

Christina Scherer Instagram - A peak into my process

Charging my water is the most sacred part of my process. I feel so incredibly lucky to have access to clean water—and to the best of my ability, I try to show my gratitude for one of earths wonders: water. Water is something we all NEED to survive. Water is a poet, a visionary, and one of the greatest artists around. I mean, have you seen the Grand Canyon? That’s the artistry of water.

Before starting a painting—I charge my water under the moonlight. If I am calling something into my life, I’ll use the dark moon (new moon 🌚 ) and if I’m releasing something, I use water from the full moon.

Normally I let my water charge under the sky through an entire moon cycle before it gets poured into a sound bowl.

Since water holds memory…I want the water in my paintings to be held with love. I know whoever owns my paintings will receive those memories into their homes or work places.

Vibrations or vibes in life are subtle…but I truly think a beautiful home or just being in a beautiful space can change your life.

I want my art to reflect that beauty we feel when the vibes are good and love is flowing 💙✨🍃

Christina Scherer Instagram - “The Meeting Place” opens TODAY! And will be @revelryboutiquegallery for the month :)

This show is really special to me. All the paintings in this collection were painted on raw canvas and given an even layer of moon water **that had been activated by my two quartz crystal singing bowls**—heart and throat—before adding colors.

The heart and throat chakras in the human system are where the feminine and masculine meet.

I am getting married this year (in two months!) and wanted to visually explore the meeting of these two vibrations coming together. Allowing the water to be a visual representation of this “Meeting Place” without trying to control what it looks like.

My hope is that the vibrations of love and authentic truth will activate whoever sees them—from the crystals bowls, into the water, and into the homes/spaces these paintings get to live in.

Christina Scherer Instagram - I’ve been working as a professional artist since I was 6 years old. I did my first commercial (for California Adventure Land, sooo cool!) and have been consistently pursuing art in many forms since.

1. Never give up.
I’ve seen sooo many wonderful artists take YEARS of failure before their first successes. I did my first movie, The Intern, after 10 years of consistently being in acting classes 5 days a week, coaching on every audition, singing lessons, voice lessons, dance…You name it. My eye never left the vision of what I was pursuing. There will always be ups and downs, but when you never give up, the opportunities meant for you, WILL find you. They say, success is preparation meeting opportunity, so never let go of refining your process.
2. Only compete with your yesterday self.
Comparing yourself to others, only leads to heartbreak. Each of us is one of a kind and irreplaceable. Flowers don’t compete with each other’s beauty. Just focus on yourself. Be better than you were yesterday. Only you know how much of your heart and soul you’re putting into something. Only you will know what reaping the rewards of what you sow…means to you.
3. Be authentic.
This is a tricky one. The word “authenticity” is being thrown around a lot lately. To me this means—working on how much capacity your spirit can hold. How present can you stay inside of yourself? And for how long? In a world of distraction, how long can you focus and be with yourself? In life…it can be hard to know where “you” begin in a world that shaped you without your permission. Start with what you like. Copy, copy, copy, until your spirit must break free and become itself.
4. Dare to fail everyday.
All art forms force you to notice your habits. All art forms ask you to break through past barriers that have kept you safe. If some thing scares you…run towards it. Remember, in all the stories hidden underneath the dragons, lies the treasure.

1. I love when people read poetry to me.
2. A food I cannot live without is: soup.
3. My family and close friends call me “Tee” or “TT” (short for tiny tee) I suppose I am short? I am 5’2’’
4. Once Lil’ Bow Wow asked for my number, he never texted or called, but my 16 year old self was thrilled.
5. I had a really hard time getting representation with an agent or manager as a kid/teenager. I was turned down many times because “I was not funny or bubbly.” The first movie I booked was a comedy…so don’t give up. Sometimes your greatest lack can become a strength. Just keep going 💙
6. I currently live in Kentucky where I paint and teach acting classes.
7. A gift I will ALWAYS love….socks. You can never have too many. I am obsessed with socks.
8. I was raised vegan but am not currently vegan. Being vegan doesn’t work for my body.
9. The only bone I’ve ever broken, is my nose—which I broke going down a slide head first at three years old.
10. I have no tattoos.

Christina Scherer - 252 Likes - A peak into my process

Charging my water is the most sacred part of my process. I feel so incredibly lucky to have access to clean water—and to the best of my ability, I try to show my gratitude for one of earths wonders: water. Water is something we all NEED to survive. Water is a poet, a visionary, and one of the greatest artists around. I mean, have you seen the Grand Canyon? That’s the artistry of water.

Before starting a painting—I charge my water under the moonlight. If I am calling something into my life, I’ll use the dark moon (new moon 🌚 ) and if I’m releasing something, I use water from the full moon.

Normally I let my water charge under the sky through an entire moon cycle before it gets poured into a sound bowl.

Since water holds memory…I want the water in my paintings to be held with love. I know whoever owns my paintings will receive those memories into their homes or work places.

Vibrations or vibes in life are subtle…but I truly think a beautiful home or just being in a beautiful space can change your life.

I want my art to reflect that beauty we feel when the vibes are good and love is flowing 💙✨🍃

This show is really special to me. All the paintings in this collection were painted on raw canvas and given an even layer of moon water **that had been activated by my two quartz crystal singing bowls**—heart and throat—before adding colors.

The heart and throat chakras in the human system are where the feminine and masculine meet.

I am getting married this year (in two months!) and wanted to visually explore the meeting of these two vibrations coming together. Allowing the water to be a visual representation of this “Meeting Place” without trying to control what it looks like.

My hope is that the vibrations of love and authentic truth will activate whoever sees them—from the crystals bowls, into the water, and into the homes/spaces these paintings get to live in.

Christina Scherer - 212 Likes - I’ve been working as a professional artist since I was 6 years old. I did my first commercial (for California Adventure Land, sooo cool!) and have been consistently pursuing art in many forms since.

1. Never give up.
I’ve seen sooo many wonderful artists take YEARS of failure before their first successes. I did my first movie, The Intern, after 10 years of consistently being in acting classes 5 days a week, coaching on every audition, singing lessons, voice lessons, dance…You name it. My eye never left the vision of what I was pursuing. There will always be ups and downs, but when you never give up, the opportunities meant for you, WILL find you. They say, success is preparation meeting opportunity, so never let go of refining your process.
2. Only compete with your yesterday self.
Comparing yourself to others, only leads to heartbreak. Each of us is one of a kind and irreplaceable. Flowers don’t compete with each other’s beauty. Just focus on yourself. Be better than you were yesterday. Only you know how much of your heart and soul you’re putting into something. Only you will know what reaping the rewards of what you sow…means to you.
3. Be authentic.
This is a tricky one. The word “authenticity” is being thrown around a lot lately. To me this means—working on how much capacity your spirit can hold. How present can you stay inside of yourself? And for how long? In a world of distraction, how long can you focus and be with yourself? In life…it can be hard to know where “you” begin in a world that shaped you without your permission. Start with what you like. Copy, copy, copy, until your spirit must break free and become itself.
4. Dare to fail everyday.
All art forms force you to notice your habits. All art forms ask you to break through past barriers that have kept you safe. If some thing scares you…run towards it. Remember, in all the stories hidden underneath the dragons, lies the treasure.

They say, success is preparation meeting opportunity, so never let go of refining your process. 2. Only compete with your yesterday self. Comparing yourself to others, only leads to heartbreak. Each of us is one of a kind and irreplaceable. Flowers don’t compete with each other’s beauty. Just focus on yourself. Be better than you were yesterday. Only you know how much of your heart and soul you’re putting into something. Only you will know what reaping the rewards of what you sow…means to you. 3. Be authentic. This is a tricky one. The word “authenticity” is being thrown around a lot lately. To me this means—working on how much capacity your spirit can hold. How present can you stay inside of yourself? And for how long? In a world of distraction, how long can you focus and be with yourself? In life…it can be hard to know where “you” begin in a world that shaped you without your permission. Start with what you like. Copy, copy, copy, until your spirit must break free and become itself. 4. Dare to fail everyday. All art forms force you to notice your habits. All art forms ask you to break through past barriers that have kept you safe. If some thing scares you…run towards it. Remember, in all the stories hidden underneath the dragons, lies the treasure.
