Rachelle Lefevre Instagram - I havenā€™t posted for so long, thought Iā€™d pop on to share a thought for whoever needs this. Everyday it can feel like the world is more and more broken and hateful and divided, there is real grief involved in being informed. So to not get swallowed by it, I spend my days pushing back against hate IRL, trying to make the people around me feel seen IRL, speaking my mind about current events IRL, finding all the ways I can to experience moments of true JOY, and encouraging others to do the same. My friend, Alexis, calls this ā€œmicro activismā€ and I agree; I also call it healing, loving, and most importantly, LIVING. Social media can be fun in small doses (new bathroom wallpaper ideas anyone?), but please donā€™t forget to be out there connecting with people, showing yourself and others a genuine, loving kindness, creating the world you want to live in. ā™„ļø

Rachelle Lefevre Instagram - TEETH WHITENING HACK šŸ˜ Most of us donā€™t have to put gnarly whitening chemicals in our mouths if we want whiter teeth. For basic stain removal, save the money & the chemical bath. ā€œPullingā€ as itā€™s often called, is natureā€™s teeth whitening hack and has been around for centuries as a form of oral health. Take one tablespoon of pure coconut oil and swish it around in your mouth (like mouthwash) for 20 min. Itā€™s super weird at first but you can slowly work your way up from 5 min to 20 min, I do it while reading, watching tv, or doom scrolling and the time passes quickly. When youā€™re done, spit it in the trash (it will clog your sink!), then brush your teeth & tongue LIGHTLY without toothpaste to remove any residue. There is obviously no guarantee this will work for everyone, all I know is Iā€™ve been doing it for years and when I take a break, I see the difference. Just trying to save yā€™all some money šŸ˜‰ p.s. We donā€™t NEED whiter teeth, sadly, itā€™s a vanity thing for me, I admit it, so donā€™t feel pressured if this isnā€™t your thing! p.p.s. When I used to drink, this was also my #1 hangover remedy in the morning šŸ˜œ (Before you sweetly write, ā€œyou havenā€™t aged!ā€, this photo is 10 years old šŸ˜‚)

You were gone long before that, slowly taken by a body that no longer answered to you and a mind that travelled you, without consent, further and further away from me. But even after all those years, I still remember you as a giant, bear of a man with a belly laugh that shook the room. You drove eight hours each way to get me to theater school in the summer, and two hours each way every week just to watch me play mediocre soccer. You didnā€™t know how to say you were proud of me, but I knew because you showed up. You didnā€™t know how to say ā€œI love youā€ first, but I knew because of how you hugged me. You didnā€™t know how to tell me you missed me when I moved away but I knew by the way you answered when I called.
