Labor have not supported any of the key recommendations made by the disabled Commissioner’s to end the segregation of disabled people in housing, education and work. Below is a summary of just some of the recommendations which Labor failed to support:
❌ Ending segregation of disabled students by transitioning to an inclusive education system
❌ Ending segregated workplaces and paying all disabled people are paid the minimum wage
❌ Ending group homes
❌ Appoint a Federal Disability Minister
They couldn’t even bring themselves to support a ban on the forced sterilisation of disabled people…
