Andrew Zimmern Instagram – I searched long and hard for the perfect Key lime pie recipe, and finally got THE ONE from a Miami fireman while filming in Florida years ago. The ratios are spot on and the custard turns out perfectly every time.
For the custard, I like to use:
1 and 1/4 cups fresh Key lime juice
Two 14-ounce cans sweetened condensed milk
8 large egg yolks
