On the heels of yet another storied Pride Month and high off the fumes of the success of the return of #Cake, a drag collective that has long since been designed to put together artists speaking and showcasing their power and truth using the language of performance, we put the spotlight on the force behind this, #DragRacePhilippines alumnus #Brigiding (@brigiding) and her continuing thrust in bridging the art of drag to the mainstream.
Emerging from the underground, well-decorated as a drag bar favorite here and overseas, now with her newfound wider reach with the triumph of the million-dollar empire that is #RuPaulsDragRace, Brigiding continues to flex her artistry, beyond landing gigs as a stage performer, brand ambassador, online personality, actor, TV show host, and entrepreneur, into nurturing rising drag superstars-in-the-making with the House of Ding.
Just about a year since the birth of the family, #Brigiding puts together a thriving group of drag toursˈ de force with Felicia (@felicia.ding_), Bomba (@bomba.ding), and Zymba (@zymbading), who is on the road to competing the upcoming season of the very television show that brought her drag mother to the fore.
The House of Ding writes, “With the community and our drag families as our support system, let’s lift each other up so we can challenge societal limitations and push boundaries together.”
