Actor Diplo HD Instagram Photos and Wallpapers August 2024

I’ve worked on a lot of albums, a lot of events, some movies & some other shit I can’t even remember.. but I really think the greatest project i’ve been able to make happen was this creative space in Jamaica 🇯🇲… the island has given me so much inspiration and was the genesis for @majorlazer where we took a bit of dancehall to the world and beyond.. collaborating with so many local legends from bunny wailer to vybz kartel & more.. But building a home .. a studio .. a refuge.. took so many years and so much time and patience. if it wasnt for my team, this would still be just a brutalist jungle dream of mine.. but from the first time I hiked from the farm to the hill to the swamp (we turned it to a little pond) rescuing horses and planting sweet potatos and pineapples.. I originally thought it would be a good place to ride out the apocalypse and learn to farm, but it turns out this place is going to become a home .. a studio .. a creative refuge for many artists. It feels like I dropped a masterpiece of an album, and I hope it gets used to make a lot of legendary music because that is what this island does. Thank u @archdigest
