Josh Lucas Instagram – One of the most scary & important days of my career happened during the shooting of #abeautifulmind when they put on my “old man” make up for later scenes with @russellcrowe i looked like a bad SNL character. Russel’s makeup artist was the brilliant Oscar winner Greg Cannom. After nearly 6 hours in the make up chair #ronhoward came in and looked at me and i really thought I was gonna be replaced by an older actor in the later scenes of the movie as I looked so weird. Working all night long Greg Cannom applied Russel’s prosthetic pieces to my face which was a crazy risk but it worked and I kept my job. Years later Greg briefly turned me into Abraham Lincoln for a screen test. This great artist is sick and if you have a few bucks check out my stories link for a @gofundme page to help.
