Sylvia brings a proven track record of strong leadership in finance, operations, and governance. As an experienced nonprofit executive, Sylvia is the dynamic leader our team needs to help drive LCF’s strategic expansion in the coming years.
Sylvia comes to LCF from the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR), where she served as the Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer leading fundraising and corporate relations, strategic engagements, finance and operations, and governance. During her tenure, she also served as the Interim Director of Research, Executive Programs, and led the Communications and Human Resource departments.
In her new role, Sylvia will be instrumental in managing our program teams, streamlining our internal processes, and ensuring LCF constantly innovates to meet our mission of unleashing the civic and economic power of Latinos in California and beyond!

Sylvia is that she’s a passionate soccer mom who is gradually learning the rules of the game. She enjoys swimming and loves preparing large family meals for her loved ones.⚽️ 🌊 🍽️
