Matthew Santoro Instagram – After over 24 hours of work, my Murder of Crows sleeve is complete! Crows, in many cultures, represent transformation. The three year period of the pandemic entirely transformed me as a person. I am so much more awake and aware now as a human. I chose a different path during that time and it temporarily cost me my peace. But through that, I gained a new awareness that only taking the path less travelled can give. I’ve learned to be grateful for the last three years. I’ve endured. And I’m stronger and wiser for it. In the end the old adage is true – what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger. Peace, acceptance and light is my path forward. Remember that without the dark times, we cannot appreciate the good times. Or as a friend once told me, “embrace the light, honour the dark”. Also I think it just looks badass 😆
