He passed away yesterday💔
I tried to make a video to acknowledge his life and his GREATNESS as a man/human of EXCEPTIONAL CHARACTER but I couldn’t get through it without breaking down. And this post is not about my sadness but about his strength and his family’s unbelievable courage and love. His wife Susan. His daughter Lilah. His son Kallum.
Kenny was diagnosed with ALS over 5 and half years ago. Of course, I didn’t experience the heartbreaking moments he and his family went through but I did witness many of the joyful, grateful times they shared/we shared for life and family during my visits to their home. Much of my time with them was as they dealt with the different awful stages of ALS. But Kenny remained a powerhouse of positivity and humor. He constantly reminded me how much taller he was than me even after he was confined to his fancy chair – even after he lost the ability to speak he had a computer that operated through his breath and when that ability left him he used his eyes to type out his jokes. He would even text me out of the blue to remind me to stand on my “Apple Box” next to tall people on set (at work) so I could appear more manly 😁🤣.
He would also text me to tell me that he loved me – like he did 2 days ago ❤️💔
