Mrs. Kasha Davis Instagram – with the premiere of rupaul’s drag race all stars 9 out today, i wanted to take a look back at one year ago when i had the amazing opportunity to photograph all of @mrskashadavis’s looks for all stars 8.
recently i was asked what project i have done that i am most proud of, and the answer is this catalog of photos for kasha. kasha took a chance on a photographer that she had only met once and even though we had a connection and formed a friendship, this was an incredibly huge and important part of her career to trust me with. kasha allowed me to go in whatever direction i envisioned and allowed me to create art, even if that meant she had to get in a trash bin (totally worth it, my favorite photo and concept of them all lol).
i look back on these photos and they make me so happy. i really wanted to tell the stories of the looks through the photos and to give kasha something that she would be proud to share with the world.
kasha, you are one of my favorite people and i can’t thank you enough for all of the opportunities you have given me and for taking a chance on me, i am forever grateful for you.
