All films were the highest grossers of that year & all were Golden Jubilee runs. Two out of those namely DharamVeer & AAA ran in daily four shows at the same theaters for 3 years. A feat perhaps unparalleled by any movie director in the world.
After adjusting inflation & footfall the trade of all four films is close to Rs2000 cr of today.
That was the magic of #MANMOHANDESAI
He & I ve had a special relationship. The first film tht I ever watched was his. After that I could never adjust to the normal world.
I may be still living in the movies. His world was special. There was friendship & loyalty. There was Brute Love. Retribution & Vindication existed. Everybody found everybody in the end & the worst always passed. All this while everyone was having loads of fun!
