Patrick Warburton Instagram – Christmas 69 at the start of the Vietnam War ,the M-16 was a brand new “state of the art” weapon that had just been introduced to the U.S. military. it had a number of flaws and was prone to jamming, so the soldiers hated it (at first) and it was getting a lot of bad press. To help counter that bad press the company produced toy versions of the guns for the civilian market. Looks like i ended up with one of them. I probably could’ve taken Ralphie and his Red Ryder. 😬
Different times to say the least. I find it a little odd to look back…
