Prince Instagram – Thank you for celebrating Musicology with us this month! On April 19 2004, the album arrived in stores in the UK, followed the next day in the US. The final song on Musicology is “Reflection,” a slow number that features a prominent acoustic guitar to finish out the album.
On February 19, 2004, The Tavis Smiley show premiered a live version of “Reflection” with an intimate reunion of Prince and Wendy Melvoin of The Revolution.
“It was just him and me, and he was gorgeous. He was the guy I knew when I first met him,” remembered Wendy. “It was beautiful to see him. I held on to him and kept kissing him and hugging him and telling him I loved him.”
