I think this song will always be in my top three favourite songs I’ve ever written. Sometimes to figure out how we feel about someone or something, we have to step into the shoes of someone else to fully understand our own feelings. This song was one of the first times I told a story in song through someone else’s eyes. I learnt so much about myself and about that person through this experience.
